” AU Tram Tracker ” by Pattaranan and Nachachchaya (Advisor, Asst.Prof.Dr. Narong Aphiratsakun)

Senior Capstone Project 1 / Semester 1/2021

Abstract:

Global fleet management and vehicle owners use vehicle-tracking systems, which are well-established technologies in our century. It is a device that is extremely safe and dependable. In our university, the students often face many problems when taking a ride with AU tram. For instance, the tram doesn’t come on time hence making most of them late. As a result, campus tram system is designed and implemented for helping Assumption University students to locate the tram and estimate the arrival time. Our project comprises integration between hardware and software. An Arduino UNO is used to control the GPS module to get the geographic coordinates. An application using App Inventor is expected to be developed in order to allow the user to not only decide when the campus bus will arrive, but also acquire tram information. “AU Tram tracker” is proudly represented for the
problem solving in our university.
