Senior Capstone Project 2 / Semester 1/2021

Abstract:

Automation has been used in many industrial applications, including inventory management. Autonomous vehicle can help with inventory management by deliver inventories to its destination. Electric vehicle (EV) has less complexity and pollution comparing to internal combustion engine vehicle. Low speed required also make the vehicle less complex to design. Modular design leads to simplicity to scale up size and quantity. Lidar and computer vision (line tracking) is use in robot localization, path planning and obstacle avoidance. All mentioned above can help operator to lower the cost and time of the inventories management. This vehicle will make overall industrial transportation be more efficient.
